What other names are there for people who can see the future?
I already know: seer, psychic, prophet, and Oracle but I was wondering if their is more names. I don’t want to use the same words over and over again!

Please don’t answer ‘liars or con artist’ or anything like that, I’m not saying I believe in them or anything like that, I need to know for a novel I’m writing, and right now I’m stumped!

I write a lot and I often find that I keep repeating some words. I use the Thesaurus to look for synonyms and sometimes I go to http://www.rhymezone.com/ to see what synonyms they list there. Since you are the creator you also get to use the words with a little freedom, a sage is wise, but if you make him/her wise enough to know the future then that’s how it is.

What questions should I ask a psychic?
I am getting a psychic reading soon and ive come up with a lust of questions to ask her. The list includes questions about: Love, friendships, school, career, money, home, marriage, children. Can you think of some questions so i can see if i have them in my list? Thanks.

Here’s some advice. And i apologize ahead of time for being that guy that tells you how it is.
However, most people that claim they are psychics are indeed not. I do believe that there are some people out there that can do this but then again theres always that chance its some lady looking for some quick cash that will tell you some stuff to make you happy. Try asking her something you already know to make sure she’s actually a psychic and dont give her any hints. Like when is the next time im going out to dinner…etc, Just use some common sense and if she does seem legit then i guess you proved me wrong.

I give readings and I feel very overwhelmed when someone asks me a zillion questions. Giving readings is very exhausting. I can only do two readings a day.

The best way to get a reading is to concentrate on one or two areas in your life that are puzzling you. That allows the reader to hone in on the topic and give more results, better results. If you ask a reader a zillion questions,, the information is choppy and broken up, and sometimes info for one question is picked up 3 questions later.

My mum and a few members of my family are mediums and give readings. They dont like it when too many questions are asked, so dont have a long a list.

She will probably tell you about your career, marriage and children anyway without you asking her as these are usually done in a general reading as their big points in someones life.

I cant think of anything else you would need to know, as you mentioned the main stuff in life. But if you have any problems going on, mention those to her and ask if she can see how they will turn out.

A good question is if there are going to be any major events in your life. Just ask the things that you really want to know.

Hope you have a good reading, and remember to either tape it or write the main stuff down as she will tell you alot and it’s hard to remeber. Most psychics tape readings anyway but not all of them. If she doesnt tape it, she wont mind you doing so or writing anything down x
