Honestly, most of them on the TV, and anyone who charges money, are fakes.
You’re getting into complicated ground here. The Church says no. Sorry, I disagree. SOME deceased are with us, and around us, constantly. They may be trapped here or they may stay by choice or fear. Then, some go on through the Veil, into Paradise/Heaven/Hell, as they have earned. Most of them, those that go to Parades or Heaven, wouldn’t come back for anything BUT LOVE. Even then, I doubt many would. Hell, on the other hand, is enough to make anyone stay here.
They can be trapped her because they are “lost.” Confused is a better world. They may die and not understand they are dead, or may be unable to understand. These are the ones that get used in Necromancy, most often. Others can be too attached to things here to leave, and some may not want to leave their families. The best way to say it is that they’re exactly like the living, in-corporeally.
Sadly, this is one of the oldest rackets going. You can’t really prove they don’t talk to the deceased, or that they do. Thus, there are laws about this and so on. Many an investigator has tried to ferret out fakes, and it’s hard.
Anyway, it’s not always easy to tell what they’re “saying.”

Note: The Chaldeans were famous for their sorcery.
God does not approve of anyone attempting to learn of the future except what He has revealed in The Holy Bible. He does not approve of anyone attempting to contact the dead for any reason. He does not approve of playing games or telling stories about sorcery. God does not approve anyone seeking power from any of these sources. They are all Satanic/Demonic. Anyone who does these things or anyone who consults such is in danger of burning in hell forever.
I pray you will believe this and accept the fact that you are a sinner needing to be saved from your sins (“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23, The Holy Bible.) and accept the fact that the blood Jesus Christ shed for you at Calvary is the only way you can have your sins forgiven, cleansed and removed and is the only way you can get to heaven. I pray you will acknowledge that you are a sinner and ask Jesus Christ to forgive, cleanse and remove all you sins and accept Him into your heart/life to live for Him the rest of your life. (“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12, in the Holy Bible.) That is what it means to be born again. (“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 in The Holy Bible.) Salvation is a free gift. You cannot work for it. You cannot be good enough to earn it. You must, by faith, receive it as a free gift. (“8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.”) Ephesians 2:8-9.
God loves you and it is not His will that you perish in hell.

Do you think those who have true psychic abilities should be afraid to go public with it?
By psychic abilities I mean the ability of precognition, ability to sense a astral spirit, telekinesis, or other psychic abilities…Do you have these abilities? If so let me know.

True psychic abilities is a contradiction in terms. You might as well believe in some omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent cosmic Santa Claus.
